Movies

Did anyone go see White noise or Darkness? I missed both and am wondering if they were any good. I love horror movies, both good and bad, but am yearning for one that'll make me afraid to fall asleep at night. I tried Boogeyman and found it lacking. Any suggestions?

Died in my sleep

So I woke last night from a dream in which I got hit by a train. I was crossing a train track and never saw it comming. I felt my back break and watched as my bloodied body flew threw the air in slow motion. I landed against a tree, my body turning into a giant red smear. I woke just after I felt half of my body slide down the tree while the rest stayed impayled upon a branch.

I envy people who have nice dreams. The only nice ones I ever have are sex dreams (yep even at 31, although they're not wet ones). Whenever I hear about people wanting to wake up and write their dreams down, I just want to scream.

so how is Roanoke by the way...I worked there through a temp agency for about 2 weeks...I forget the name of the place...

I lived in Blacksburg for a while...my friend was relocated from Pgh to down there with her company Echostar (Dish Network). I was between jobs, very aimless and needed a change so I went with her...of course there is nothing to do there except get extremely loaded on Virginia Tech's campus and find yourself in awkward predicaments that I am very thankful to have survived through and frequently ask myself what the hell were you thinking...but I attribute it to being young and stupid...

I very much enjoy hiking today as I did then, I used to hike the Jefferson National Forest down there. There was a place called the Cascades...where you hiked up 1 or 2 miles and came to the foot of 60 or 65 foot waterfall...a very WONDERFUL place...that I still think of often...

If you ever get the urge for a little outdoors you should go there, since you are closer than I'll ever be...I often wish it were still just a short drive...never really found a place quite like it yet...
I miss some things about Virginia...not the rednecks though...They didn't appreciate me much...

Joke

So a cop pulls me over the other day and while he's writing out my ticket I see that he keep having to swat at a mosquito.
So I goes to him "Circle fly bothering you?'
He says "It's a moquito"
So I say "nope. I know a circle fly when I sees one" .
"What's a circle fly?" he asked.
I say " well we me and my brother used to have horses we'd notice all day long they had to swish thier tale at the circle flys that gather on thier bums"
He looks at me and says "are you calling me horses behind?"
SO I look and say "Oh dear no officer. But you can't fool them cirlce flys."

Theme

So going with the theme of the Round Table, what would everyone's ancient weapon of choice be? I've had several friends say I look like I belong on a war horse with a 2 headed battle ax and a helmet with horns. They seem to think I was meant to be born a viking. How about you?

thoughts.

Have gotten in touch again with my friend who I fought with when she went back with her abusive ex. Things are still tentative now, but I'm glad I'm at least getting to write e-mails again. I may not like what she's doing with her life, but that doesn't mean I want to lose her. Funny how she went on and on about how being a good christian meant that she had to forgive him, but she couldn't forgive me for being mad about it. Selective religion. Funny part is, here we are e-mailing again and almost right away we start flirting. She is one of the few females I've known who has flirted with me over the years and I love it. And this after she gave me a big speech back when we were fighting that her sex life is not my buisness (except for the fact that I was part of it for years and heard about it after I wasn't. If your going to tell someone all about your sex life don't be suprised if they make comments.). Oh well, I like it anyways. Was going to post this on my site, but think she still reads it and I'm afraid of doing anything that pisses her off. You'd think after 11 years a freindship would stand up to a single fight eh?
